Inflight Operations is made up of two workgroups: Inflight and Crew Operations. Inflight refers to our Flight Attendant workgroup, and those that support them. Crew Operations focuses on the “behind the scenes” work, such as our Scheduling Team. Ultimately, all work groups are focused on what happens “inside” the cabin.
The Strategy and Onboard Experience Team assists Inflight Operations in the ongoing development and implementation of the Company and department’s strategic and business initiatives. The Team assists with managing projects and initiatives related to Inflight Operations. This includes onboard product offerings, hospitality initiatives, mobility, fleet design, international efforts, and onboard revenue & inventory management efforts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Inflight Operations Strategy and Onboard Experience Team supports and assists in the ongoing development and implementation of the Company and department’s strategic plan.
The Team assists with providing project management support and ensures alignment with Company initiatives.
This includes understanding and contributing to assessments of potential business opportunities, project management, and understanding the development of our methods, tools and processes related to strategy planning, project management and change management as it relates to Inflight Operations Employees.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Progress toward degree, major, or minor in Business, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or related field required.
Minimum level accepted: Sophomore
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours.)
Maintained 2.75 or above cumulative GPA.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and/or QuickBase preferred.
Previous experience using PowerPoint preferred.
Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
Previous experience working a project from start to finish is preferred.
Knowledge of the airline industry is preferred.
Previous experience in a job or internship within the airline industry or related field the last 12 months is helpful.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Great attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as part of a Team.
Excellent time management skills required.
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
