    The Senior Business Analyst provides oversight to Maintenance Programs to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and increase effectiveness. Primary responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor for internal Customers and Leadership, providing ongoing surveillance and investigation of critical processes, and developing process improvements.



    • Perform surveillance, oversight, and auditing functions for existing and proposed Maintenance program processes by identifying deficiencies, implementing corrective measures, and recommending improvements to ensure FAA regulatory and Company compliance, increasing operational efficiency, and mitigating risk
    • Advise Leadership on program processes by reviewing Maintenance Procedural Manuals and/or standard practices, investigating undocumented procedures, meeting with subject matter experts, and compiling various sources of information in order to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
    • Recommend and develop improvements to the evaluation of program processes and procedures by creating tools, job aides, and manuals in order to automate processes
    • Audit document change requests by reviewing and validating specifications, ensuring proper documentation, and determining possible impacts in order to mitigate risk
    • Identify errors by running reconciliation reports, monitoring for trends and discrepancies, researching to determine the validity of the inconsistency, and identifying the requirement specification requiring further review in order to provide a resolution
    • Present concerns discovered during the auditing process by providing oversight and guidance in order to develop and issue a corrective action plan
    • Serve an advisor to internal Customers by applying experience and comprehensive knowledge in maintenance to solve problems in technical, regulatory, and procedural matters where precedents may not be applicable in order to influence business decisions

    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.


    • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required


    • 5-7 years program oversight experience required
    • 3-5 years of auditing or quality assurance experience required
    • Maintenance program experience preferred
    • Experience with QuickBase, SQL, and Alteryx preferred


    • Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred


    Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines. 

    • Must have a general understanding of the aviation industry and FAA regulations, including 14 Code of Regulations, Airworthiness Directive, Safety Management System, Safety Risk Management, and Maintenance Procedural Manual
    • Knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement methodologies
    • Knowledge of basic project management principles
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to read, manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data
    • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail
    • Ability to initiate tasks, perform duties, and respond to inquiries without direction or supervision
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions and time constraints
